SALVANA factory in Elmshorn, 1920
1904 SALVANA parent company established by Mr. Jacob Schwarzkopf in Horst/ Elmshorn (Northern Germany).
1910 Company moved to Elmshorn.
1954 Subsidary factory opened in Ratingen (Western Germany).
1956 First mineral licks for cattle developed.
1959 Subsidary factory opened in Elsfleth (North-Western Germany).
Market introduction of SALVANA PS.
1961 New head office and main factory constructed in Sparrieshoop (close to Elmshorn).
1967 Sales-office opened in Augsburg (Southern Germany).
1975 New methods for the production of milk replacer.
SALVANA SILOMEISTER patent (ensilage additive) developed.
1976 Capacity for pelletized feeds expanded.
Installation of a computerized feed-optimisation system.
1977 Transfer of expertise to other countries stepped up by SALVANA Premixes.
1978 New technology developed for the production of mineral licks and milk replacer.
1980 SALVANA international established.
1987 Subsidary factory constructed in Wertingen (Southern Germany).

1994 SALVANA Kft. established in Budapest/ Hungary.
2000 SALVANA ApS established in Denmark.
